Can I choose my own wording for my wedding invitations?

Yes, should you wish to have your invite worded in a certain way please send this over with your invite content. If preferred wording isn’t specified my standard invite wording will be used.

What information do I need to include in my invitations?

The essential information that is usually included is as follows:

Day Invitations:

-First and surname of the bride (first name is sufficient if the bride’s parents are hosting)
-First and surname of the groom
-Where the ceremony is taking place – venue name and address if required
-The full date of the wedding ceremony
-The time of the ceremony
-The location of the wedding reception (if different to the ceremony)
-RSVP date
-Map image if ordering a concertina invite
-Additional information, i.e. Gift List, Accommodation, etc if ordering a concertina invite

Can I use the inside or back page for additional info if I order a regular fold invite?

Yes, you can use either of these pages for a one-off artwork fee of £10

Can I choose the font for my wedding stationery text?

Yes, the text on the inside of your invite can be chosen by you. If a font is not specified my chosen font will be used.

How many ‘Order of Service’ cards should I order?

I suggest ordering one order of service card for each guest attending the ceremony, however one order of service for every two guests should be sufficient if you are on a tighter budget.

What else should I send out with my invitations?

An RSVP card for your guests is a good way to encourage a quick response to ensure you get your numbers in good time (An RSVP is already included in a concertina invite as a detachable postcard with the return address on the reverse therefore no need for an envelope). An information card with details of the venue and accommodation in the surrounding area along with gift list details can be useful to your guests, particularly if they are coming from afar.

Are envelopes included in the price?

Yes, All envelopes are included in the price.

Can we choose the colour of our envelopes?

White, cream or brown recycled envelopes are available to choose from as standard. Should you want another colour please ask and I can quote you for these.

Can we personalise the front of our wedding invitations?

Yes all invites can be personalised. For more details please ask.

Can we use bi-lingual text?

Yes of course, I am more than happy to do invites in other languages but I do not accept responsibility for any spelling or grammatical errors made in the original text supplied. The invites must be checked thoroughly by yourselves for any errors prior to printing.

How long before my wedding day should I send my invitations?

Invitations are ideally sent out to guests 3-4 months prior to the wedding date to give guests enough notice, particularly if you have not sent out any Save the Dates.

Should I send Save the Date cards?

Save the Dates are not essential but if your wedding is taking place at a busy time of the year, i.e. Summer or Christmas where your guests may plan holidays, it can be a good idea to advise them of your wedding date roughly a year in advance. If your wedding is abroad, then you may want to send them even sooner to give them plenty of time to save their pennies!

Should we include guests’ children’s names on the invitations?

Yes, if children are invited then it is nice to include the children’s names when writing your invites but if you are unable to accommodate children at your wedding then it is polite to include a little line stating this.

Should I include a wedding gift list with my invitations?

Whilst it can be considered as impolite to include a Gift List in your wedding invitation it is very common to do so.  Think carefully about the wording or perhaps include a nice poem to include.
