Today on the blog is a truly beautiful wedding where the attention to detail was second to none. Sarah Orridge and Ross Beaumont tied the knot to become the new Mr and Mrs Beaumont on Saturday 2nd August this year in a gorgeous purple affair!
Sarah and Ross came to me looking for a bespoke design that would reflect an English country garden in a purple colour scheme which is when I designed the ‘Lavender Country Garden Collection‘. this wedding is the perfect example of what a difference stationery touches can make to the overall theme and styling of a wedding from start to finish. Here are some lovely photos from their wedding taken by Graham Keutenius of Eton Photography. Sarah also shares with us her wedding experiences…
1. What was the overall look and feel you wanted to achieve for your wedding?
We wanted a very classic feel to our day, and being in the countryside we were aiming for an English Country Garden look. We kept things very traditional, and the flowers, bridesmaid dresses and lace on my own dress all tied in together to create that feel.
2. Why did you opt for professional stationery over DIY?
We wanted something very personal and unique which encompassed all the elements of our day. We were looking for a professional finish to set the tone for the wedding, and something which would really reflect the style and tone of the day.
3. What made you choose Heart Invites and were you pleased with the service and final products received?
As soon as we found Heart Invites we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. The invites and stationery created totally encompassed the feel of our day in all the elements. Heart Invites really created something totally unique to reflect us and our day. We were so pleased with our final products, they really could not have been more perfect. We had lots of compliments on our stationery and it really contributed to the amazing overall look on the day. No job or detail was too much trouble for Lauren, she is an absolute perfectionist and we were so impressed with such a personal and efficient service. Even when I had a panic 2 weeks before the big day that I needed to change the seating plan, Lauren was able to change and reprint it all within 2 days, making the whole experience highly stress free.
4. If you could give one piece of advice to any couples planning their wedding what would it be?
To enjoy the whole process, it really is such an exciting time to treasure and it will be over before you know it. Little details really do make those perfect finishing touches to the day, and including personal touches which mean something to the two of you really helps to make the day even more special.
