I am so excited to be sharing this wedding with you today as it holds a very special place in my heart…
In March this year I was fortunate enough to have taken the trip across the globe to Australia with my family to witness the wedding of my lovely cousin Amy. Amy married the man of her dreams, Luke Baldwin at Palm Beach on Saturday 7th March and I can honestly say it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen, the bridal party, the dress, the venue, the flowers everything about it was just gorgeous! As you would expect it was a hot and sunny day with the turquoise Pittwaters sparkling behind them as they said their vows. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for them to say ‘I Do’.
Amy and Luke’s wedding day was captured by the very talented James Billing Photography. What shots!
Amy has taken the time to answer a few questions and share some wedding tips with you… Enjoy!
1. What was the overall look and feel you wanted to achieve for your wedding?
We wanted our beautiful venues to speak for themselves, so we didn’t want to overdo it. It was understated with massive pops of bright colours.
We had a few key pieces that we wanted to be centre stage – our flowers and photobooth.
2. Why did you opt for professional stationery over DIY?
We had quite a clear vision of what I wanted, but needed some professional help to get it across the line.
3. What made you choose Heart Invites and were you pleased with the service and final products received?
My beautiful cousin is the founder/designer of Heart Invites, so obviously I went to her. She went over and above with her designs and eye for detail.
Even being in different countries, she made the experience very easy. We loved our stationery.
4. If you could give one piece of advise to any couples planning their wedding what would it be?
Be organised! In the week leading up to our big day, I knew everything was planned, paid for and ready to go. So I had a wonderful stress free week.
If you are reading this and are a past or present Heart Invites client, please get in touch with your photos at info@heartinvites.com. I would love to feature your wedding too!
