1. What was the overall look and feel you wanted to achieve for your wedding?
As we were getting married in a church we both felt we wanted quite a traditional look and feel to the big day. A simple, elegant mixture of sage green and white, which can make everything look bright and happy!
2. Why did you opt for professional stationery over DIY?
Our wedding incorporated quite a lot of stationery and wanted it to be something that people remembered from our wedding. From the moment they received their invite, right up to the end of the night, in sync with our theme, thats a look you just cant get from DIY.
3. What made you choose Heart Invites and were you pleased with the service and final products received?
We had heard many high recommendations of Heart Invites and had been to a wedding not long before where they had used heart invites and were very impressed. We were quite specific in what we wanted it all to look like and our bespoke design was based around a piece of fabric….. Heart invites couldn’t have done more and been more helpful, supportive and patient. We wanted quite a few things created for us from invites to favour cards to advice cards. All of it was beautiful and we believe set off our day from the outset. Lauren is so creative and talented and was able to offer so much advice on ‘tweeks’ that we made. All the stationery became one of our (my) favourite ‘jobs’ as Lauren will know haha! We couldn’t have been happier with the finished look.
4. If you could give one piece of advice to any couples planning their wedding what would it be?
Give yourself enough time to plan and really enjoy the planning. The planning was one of the funnest parts and I believe that because we had a nice chunk of time from engagement to wedding we both really enjoyed the planning and had enough time to make it exactly what we both wanted without feeling rushed or stressed!
