Firstly, a massive Happy New Year to you! With a new year comes new resolutions, new hopes and dreams and for Heart Invites…. 6 new collections!
Having given some sneak peak previews over the last month, it is now time to share with you the collections in full (excited squeal!). I really hope you love them. As always, all of the designs can have colour amends and minor design changes made free of charge.
To help you visualise how the collections could be styled at a wedding I have created a mood board, collating lots of wedding pretties for each new design – enjoy!
Country Cottage
First up is my personal favourite… Country Cottage. This is a really soft, feminine design, with a touch of shabby chic with a rustic white wood frame, hessian and lace, brown paper, pearl pins and a floral wallpaper all of which are very much on the wedding scene when it comes to styling right now. Floral patterns will never go out of fashion and I just love this pretty pink Kath Kidston style background.
Chalkboard
I decided that my wedding collections were missing the classic Chalkboard design. The blackboard style has always been a firm favourite for wedding stationery with bride and grooms. It’s simplistic, delicate style and neutral colour scheme allow you to add as little or as much colour and detail to your wedding as you like with other decorations. The font has a lovely personal feel to it with the hand illustrated daisies. I have always pictured chalkboard stationery to be well suited to a rustic barn wedding with log cuts and wild flowers but really it can work well at any venue.
Two Little Birds
I love the colour combination of this minty green and pink design. With a nod to vintage with textured papers, doilies and 2 very sweet little birds this design is very romantic and elegant, which is the perfect styling for any wedding.
Watercolours
From saturated to soft, watercolours are having a moment in weddings right now. Colours, textures and art can have a profound effect on your wedding ambiance and really create a calm and beautiful mood. My Watercolours design has a peach and pink scheme with hints of tangerine. I love the way that these colours work together for watercolours providing a romantic yet chic tone, with just a hint of the vibrant tangerine to lift the colour palette.
Hydrangea Courtyard
I absolutely adore this design with its soft colour scheme, and featuring one of my favourite flowers, Hydrangeas. They are so beautiful and can really make a statement when used at a wedding. The use of this stunning flower is becoming increasingly popular at weddings and it’s not difficult to see why! This design incorporates a french script adding to that French courtyard feel.
Love is in the Air
One for the jet setters packing their bags and taking their wedding abroad! A postcard inspired design with a soft grey, blue and white colour palette, creating a calming and romantic tone. Travel has always been a popular wedding theme as it is often something the bride and groom have shared during their relationship leading up to their wedding day so I can’t see this trend going anywhere anytime soon!
I really hope you love the new collections and find the mood boards useful. I hope to be working with you on your stationery very soon! :-)
